A Memorable Luxury
While working at Purl Soho, I had the opportunity to knit with fibers I otherwise would not have had access to. This particular piece was for a competition we, the store, were having with the warehouse on the other side of the country. The challenge was to see which staff could knit the most yardage in a set amount of weeks. When planning my project out, I knew I wanted to do something in brioche and to use this particular cashmere yarn. I was a little concerned about not producing enough yardage for the competition, so I held the cashmere with some mohair yarn. The result was an exceptionally soft and luxurious infinity scarf. I ended up gifting it to my mom and she cherished right up it until the day she passed away.
A simple yet elegant piece of brioche knitting. This scarf is made out of cashmere and mohair knit up in brioche stockinette.
