Experimental Knitting

When I first learned how to double knit, I was a bit self-conscious because the stitches I purled always felt looser than the ones I knit. I thought this was just the way Continental knitting went…until I tried other forms of knitting too. It seemed to be a common phenomenon.

Either way I ended up making quite a few projects to practice my double knitting and see if I can resolve this issue. I haven’t settled on a surefire way yet, but here is one of them! I had quite a bit of fun experimenting with this scarf. I even threw in a brioche section and a double knitting portion with a design. Enjoy!
