A Simple Gift

This was a bit of an interesting project to work on. It was one of my first pieces after getting out of the Navy. I really enjoyed designing this beanie and bringing it to life. The yarns were incredible to work with. Malabrigo Rasta works up like a dream. The recipient, however, was the interesting part. She was a friend, but also happened to be a magnet for drama. Needless to say, the friendship didn’t last. I hope she’s getting some good use out of the beanie though.
